Installation Unsuccessful Errors on Android Device
Last Updated -
If you are having issues installing the app and this message appears when you are trying to download it, try the following:
1.) Clear the Zepp app's Cache and Data
To do this, find Settings and go to Applications > Manage Applications > All. Find the app and select "Clear Data" (this should clear the cache as well). Go back to your list of apps and do the same with the Download Manager. When completed, go back to the Play Store and re-download the app. If it works, you're all set. If not, it's likely an SD card issue. Move to step #2.
2.) Unmount your SD Card before updating
The easiest way to fix this is to just unmount your SD card before updating your apps. Go to Settings > SD Card & Phone Storage and select Unmount SD Card. When it's fully unmounted (it'll take a second), go ahead and re-update your apps from the Market. They should reinstall just fine (though you may have to search Google Play for the app if it isn't on your Downloads page). You'll then have to re-mount the SD card and move the app over again using App 2 SD.
3.) Uninstall Tennis Updates
We haven't had to use this one before, but it bears mentioning that some users have found that going into Settings > Applications > All and hitting "Uninstall Updates" fixes the problem for them.
4.) Uninstall the App and Reinstall from Scratch
If you've already tried to update it, you won't be able to uninstall it by deleting, but if you go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications and uninstall it from there (by tapping the app and pressing "Uninstall"), you should be able to re-download it from Google Play Store without issue.
If neither of these steps resolve the problem please email us explaining the steps you've taken and our Customer Service team will work with you to resolve the problem.
